We received fantastic service from Universal Relocation. They were recommended to us by many of my connections in "returntoIndiagroup" who used their services. Kris(Sham) our sales guy was very thorough and detailed from the beginning. Kris did video tour to estimate container size and time required for team to pack.Team came on time on the packing dates & container sailing information was given within 3 days of pickup.

Packing and loading team did a phenominal job in loading almost 300 sqft home contents in 20 feet container within 10hrs.

I had opportunity to speak with Mr. Dattani-CEO of the company to check, if shipping dates can be moved. He returned my call promplty and solved the shipping date issue on the spot with sales team.

I would highly recommend UNiversal Relocation.

We shipped 5 boxes from Houston TX to India. We were informed it will take 3-4 months and there will not be any extra charges if there is no electrical equipment. Initially we were charged

$500 Box charge

$125 Box repackaging

$90 for insurance

$715 Total

Its 7 months now we have still not received the boxes yet. Not sure what conditions they are in. While checking the status We were informed now that we will have to pay an extra around 6k INR more if we want the boxes. Below are the charges they mentioned.

This is insane ! We got a visa rejection and have to move,saw the reviews and decided will go with this company. But this is how we are being treated !!

We were informed no extra charge will be there now they keep charging extra this is insane ! Wont recommend this moving company ! Will go on every website and will try to write reviews so that no one else get scammed as we did !

Basically for 5 boxes they want $800 and still may be more !

Overall Grate experience and its awesome co-ordination.

Based on reviews of this company, Universal Relocations, I have engaged them to ship my goods to India. I am glad I selected them; the company has very good reputation and they have proved it. My contact with several staff there has been excellent. They are very prompt and attentive in answering all my queries. In particular, one young lady, Priya Dharshini, was very helpful in dealing with me; she always answered the phone no matter what time I called her. Shabhaz, the Operations Manager, was very prompt in responding to all my emails. I will wait for the shipment to arrive in Chennai, India. I will write more reviews later.

I have moved from US to india. I have used Universal relocation to move my things including TV. The whole move experience is great starting from getting quote to things delivery was handled by good professionals. The kept me informed the whole process from shipping to delivery. Their tracking system really helped me to plan.

Everybody was helpful and explaining the process of an international move. Completely hassle free move. Made is easy for me to sit back and relax. The container was loaded with expert movers and was able to get regular weekly updates of my shipment and when the shipment arrived in India, all the paperwork and customs was handled by an experienced person Mr. Anup who then got my shipment upto my doorstep with ease. Will definitely recommend Universal locations to anyone who is interested in moving domestically or overseas. Everyone was knowledgeable and eager to assist every step of the way. I had sent two boxes from Arizona to Pune. I would like to Thank Pallavi, who helped in sending these two boxes from the United States.Then all the very Thanks to Shyamala for the follow up in India and Custom clearance and finally thanks to dear Huzaina who was in complete follow up till my parcel reached Pune. Thanks to all the ladies with the beautiful heart who took the responsibility of my parcel.I have no words because my daughters were so happy after seeing the beautiful clothes that I sent them. We had contacted UR on April, 2020 for the movement of 9 boxes from Columbus OH to Kolkata. They had provided all the instructions in details. Venkat from the USA team had provided all the information and the labels for the shipment of the boxes through FedEx from our apartment to UR Warehouse in USA. They had provided the timeline of 3 months for the boxes to reach India, and even during the Covid-19 pandemic they were able to deliver. Once the packages reached India, Mothish was the point of contact. He had provided all the updates and the tracking information. We received the boxes within 2 weeks of time. Customs were done quickly. UR and Mothish went out of the way to deliver the boxes when the state of West Bengal was not allowing trucks from outside the state to enter the city. They had arranged local small trucks to deliver the package and in a very reasonable rate too. The delivery guys were very punctual and well mannered. They helped us to unload the boxes. I am not sure about the negative reviews, but we did not face even a single issue with this company. All of our items were received properly, no broken items (we had glass items), no damages, no missing items, no issues at all. I would recommend UR to anyone who is moving back to Kolkata.

I had them move 6 boxes from Dallas to Pune. The service was excellent overall. I received phone calls and emails that provided me updates on where my shipment was almost every week and even through the COVID situation. The packages were received safe and sound. Really appreciate their service through and through. Also wanted to appreciate Huzaina, as she handled all the communication with me once I had come to India and her excellent coordination ensured that the boxes got delivered to my door even during this time of COVID restrictions. The boxes were sanitized before they reached us. Thanks for the great service that was given. Felt that I got value for every penny I spent.

I had moved 3 boxes from Louisville, KY(USA) to Jhansi (UP) India. I would like to thank All the team members of Universal Relocations who helped me move my shipment seamlessly. Even in the case of such Covid-19 lock-down in India they delivered shipment with as small as possible delay. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants hassle free deliver to destination. No hidden charges only charges you need to pay for the port charges and sanitizing charges. in India.

Shipped 2 shipments of 5 boxes and 2 boxes of household items from Milwaukee, WI to Villupuram, TN. I was initially skeptical about the service after reading reviews that their service is not so great in India side but was only proved wrong later.

Overall they are very responsive to emails and replied back to my questions immediately. In the US side, after signing/scanning waiver forms, they arranged FedEx pickup from my apt on the requested date. I had to reschedule the pickup for my second shipment and they did it quickly.

Once the FedEx delivered the boxes to Universal Relocations's warehouse in NJ, the boxes remained there till they get loaded in the container. My first shipment was loaded in 3 weeks and my second shipment was loaded in a week. Once the containers were loaded, they sent tracking info of the container and also sent emails every week updating the current status of the shipment.

In India side, the boxes remained at the Chennai Port for about 3 weeks and was charged rs 5800 for 5 boxes for port clearance. The boxes were then taken to their warehouse in Tamil Nadu and after about a week and half, the boxes were loaded in their own truck and was provided with tracking info. I was able to track the current gps location of the truck till it reached my home. The delivery guys were professional as well. It took less than 4 months to get my first shipment.

I am still waiting on my second shipment but I am sure I will get it without any hassle.

I used this company for my move from Sunnyvale, CA to Bangalore, India. They did a great job! I decided to go with them at the last minute but they made it work and handled the process extremely efficiently. Despite delays due to COVID-19, they managed the situation well and provided regular updates and prompt responses to e-mails. All my boxes arrived in perfect condition.

In short, I'm extremely satisfied with the quality of service and efficiency!

My experience with Universal Relocation has been very good from start to end (TN, USA to TN, India). Starting with Venkatesh, who was very helpful with the initial quote to suggestions for type of boxes to be used to the coordination of shipping boxes to US warehouse. From there on Mothish took over with weekly updates on the status of shipment until it cleared customs in India. Shymala was helpful with the custom payments. Then, the move coordinator Huzaina was prompt and detailed with the delivery of the shipment. The delivery personal were also super helpful. Overall very happy with the service provided.

I am not surprised to see the page full of BAD reviews from various customers all over the world for Universal Relocations. I moved my stuff recently and Universal Relocations were a total nightmare. Many of my items are missing many damaged. I tried giving a detailed feedback to Sangeeta CEO but she didn't bother to reply. They are extremely money minded. Ranjani and Anup overcharged me during customs clearance but when I confronted they reduced the amount. Right from Day 1 they were extremely unprofessional. Ranjani,Anup and Huzaina each one of them was rude,unprofessional and incompetent and completely ambigous about the whole process. They extremely delayed my shipment. There was no communication after my repeated followups. Huzaina delivered my shipment at a wrong address. They just delivered my goods that too in a damaged condition. Many of them are still missing. They didn't unpack or assemble my stuff. Beware of Universal Relocations Hire them at your own RISK!!.

This past week I moved a packed one bedroom apartment in New Jersey. The crew was on time and polite throughout the entire move. They thoroughly hand wrapped all of my belongings in quality material (kitchen wear + misc. items + furniture) and packed them tightly so they didnt shift in the boxes during the move. They boxed around the furniture and then wrapped it with padded blankets and made sure to handle with care at the pickup and delivery! The crew completed the move after a 12 hour day with a small break during the transport to my new apartment. There were no surprise charges and no damage to my belongings. I would recommend this service to anyone looking to experience a high end move where your mind can rest without stress on a crazy moving day!
